Theresa's quilt part 2

Theresa put this quilt together, I believe it is a Judy Neimeyer quilt. It's all batiks and it's beautiful. The piecing was excellent, which makes for easier quilting. This is the second quilt I have quilted for Theresa.

I did stitch-in-the-ditch around the stars to make them pop out and did some connecting stitches around the stars. I did a lot of quilting around the blocks in the background,...

Theresa's quilt part 1

This is a quilt by Theresa called "Alaska Wildflowers." I had a lot of fun with this quilt. This is one quilt of two quilts that I am quilting for her, I have her second quilt on the frames now. She hasn't seen this one finished yet, so it's a first for her. I hope she likes it.

I did small swirls for the background, small echoing for the flowers and some connecting runs for the squares and...

Jan's Quilt

This is Jan's quilt, she did a beautiful job putting it together. I had a great time quilting this fun quilt. Enjoy the pictures. Not much to say, but I am still just trying to catch up!

I love the backs! I love this back a little more than usual, that's why I took so many pictures.

Wendy's Sunflower Quilt

This is a quilt pieced by Wendy of Las Vegas. I had a lot of fun with this quilt!

Wendy wanted her sunflowers to stand out, so I did a lot of background fillers to make the sunflowers pop! I played with the big spaces in the centers and between the sunflowers to give the background new dimension. It was really fun, I love how this quilt turned out.

I love triangle blocks simply because I can...

Navajo Indian Rug Quilt

Okay, so Claudia made this awesome quilt. She told me that she called it her "Woo Woo Quilt" because her son saw it and asked her when she started making Indian quilts. That being said she asked me if I could do any kind of Indian Themed quilting. I had this idea pop in my head that said "Indian Rug" and I went for it. I had to research Indian Rugs and the designs on them. Taking several designs...

Paula's Quilt

I had a great time with Paula's wall hanging. She did an excellent job piecing this quilt and it was easy to work with. I did a lot of feathering and stitch in the ditch for this quilt. I used two different threads, a maroon -ish for the dark fabric and a tan for the background colors. I think it turned out great.

I think the back turned out great too!
