Quilting Services
I am no longer accepting quilts at this time. I am putting my quilting services on pause indefinitely as I prioritize my time with my own design work and business (greenfairyquilts). I will finish up the quilts that I have currently. Thank you for supporting me all these years!
Judi now offers computerized Edge to Edge quilting for customers. She uses an A1 Elite longarm with high quality stitching using HabDash Glide thread and provides beautiful designs to choose from.
These designs are not for download, but for quilting services only!
Things you need to know before you send your quilt:
**I DO NOT offer binding services.
**Only computerized Edge to Edge designs at this time (no custom).
**Your quilt top needs to be free of holes, and excess thread.
**Your quilt should be pressed well and ready to quilt. If I need to press your quilt, there will be a $10.00 charge.
**If your quilt top is not flat, then you will have puckers and tucks in the quilting - there is no going around that. For best results, use starch while piecing your quilt and press well!
**Quilt backing and batting must be at least 4-6 inches bigger on ALL sides, no exceptions.
**I choose the color of thread based on your quilt, I will match it to the top of the quilt using a color that blends the best with all the fabrics in your top.
**I will not use invisible thread, sorry!
**I do offer batting, Hobbs 80/20 cotton/poly or 100% cotton at $12.50/yard. I will always use the 80/20 unless 100% cotton is requested.
**I can only quilt tops that are 96" wide or less in size.
**I charge a flat rate of 0.02 per square inch. (Example) 45" x 45" = 2,025 x .02 = $40.50, however, there is a minimum charge of $50.00 for all quilt tops.
**You are responsible for shipping your quilt to me and covering return shipping costs.
**I charge a $10.00 down payment for quilting services to reserve your spot, once your quilt is finished, that $10 will go towards your invoice.
**Once you have placed an order for quilting services, I will send you an email and we will go over the details - including where to ship your quilt.
**Click on your desired quilting design and pay the $10.00 to reserve your spot.
**Please don't reserve your spot until your quilt is ready to send. Thanks!
